How does
the Cruiser Ramp system install into my pickup bed?
The system is installed by adding four
rivet n to the pickup bed. All of the needed components are provided with the
system. These are very low-profile inserts and will not hinder the use of the
pickup bed with the Cruiser Ramp system removed.

How is the Cruiser Ramp system
shipped?
The Cruiser Ramp system is shipped via truck lines
on a 4' x 8' pallet. The system is completely assembled and ready for
installation into the pickup bed. No assembly of the system is required.
How
far forward is the motorcycle when loaded into my pickup bed?
The Cruiser Ramp- system will place the front tire
to within about 1 1/2" from the front of the front bed rail. This depends on the
front tire size. The below photo is of the front tire on a 95th Anniversary HD
Fat Boy loaded into a 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup bed.

What pickups
will the Cruiser Ramp system install into?
The Cruiser Ramp system will install into any full
size pickup with a bed length of 5'-6", 6'-6", or 8', and a distance between the
wheel wells of 48". This includes Step-Side pickups since the distance between
the sides is generally 48". The system will also install into the full size
Toyota Tundra with 6'-6" bed.
What
pickup bed heights will the Cruiser Ramp system install into?
Most standard truck bed heights (including standard
4 x 4) are compatible with the Cruiser Ramp system. If there has been a lift kit
installed let us know. You are generally safe up to 39" to the top of the bed.
Higher may be achieved with modifications.
What is
the motorcycle load capacity of the Cruiserlift System?
The Cruiser Ramp system has a 1000 pound load limit
at this present time.
What is the finish on
the Cruiser Ramp system?
The system has a semi-gloss black powder coat frame
for long lasting appearance. I scratches do appear, the system may be touched
up.
What is the warranty
of the Cruiser Ramp system?
The cruiser Ramp system carries a 1 year limited
warranty on materials and workmanship.
Do I have to remove the Cruiser Ramp system to close the tailgate on my pickup?
The system may be left in the pickup with the
motorcycle removed on the 5'-6", 6'-6", and 8' bed lengths and still close the
tailgate. You do not have to remove the system to close the tailgate on any
model.
Do I remove
my tailgate when using the Cruiser ramp system?
The tailgate remains on the pickup with all 5'-6"
and 6'-6" systems. The motorcycle may be loaded into the bed of a 8' long box
pickup with or without the tailgate installed. The tailgate may be closed with
the motorcycle loaded with the 8' bed length truck, depending on the overall
motorcycle length..

Can I install the Cruiser Ramp system into a mid-sized pickup such as the Dodge
Dakota, Ford Ranger, or Chevrolet Colorado?
Not at this time. We are still evaluating that
market. Generally, these pickups do not have the load capacities as the full
size pickups. With a motorcycle loaded, the rear of the truck in dropped
considerably creating driving or towing issues. Even though the bed lengths may
be compatible, the distance between the wheel wells is well under 48".
Can I pull a travel trailer with my motorcycle loaded on the Cruiser Ramp
system?
If the system is installed into a 8' long bed, you
can pull a travel trailer. This cannot be done with a 5'-6", 6'-6" bed length
since the tailgate is down when the bike is loaded. The below photo shows the
motorcycle loaded and a 31' Alumascape travel trailer. If the motorcycle is too
long to close the tailgate, the tailgate may be removed.

Once
my motorcycle is loaded, where do I store the loading ramps?
Once the bike is loaded, the loading
ramps store into the supplied brackets that drop into the pickups stake bed
holes on the side rails.

If I change pickups, do I have to purchase a new Cruiser Ramp system?
No! The only thing that would need to be changed is
the right and left side bed rails if the bed length were to change.
If I order a Cruiser Ramp system, how long will it be before it ships?
The Cruiser Ramp system ship within 24 hours from
the date of order under most conditions.
What is
the shipping time to my location from Houston Texas?
This depends on the ship to location. Some examples
are:
-
Most of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas = 1
day
-
Denver, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Chicago,
Atlanta, Florida = 2 days
-
Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, New England = 3
days
-
Most remote areas in Oregon, Washington, California,
Idaho, Etc = 4 days
Where
should the Cruiser Ramp system be shipped when ordered?
The Cruiser Ramp system is shipped on a 4' x 8'
pallet at about 375 pounds.. The system should be shipped to a location where a
forklift is available. The system may be shipped to the trucking terminal for
pick-up. Trucking companies charge $65.00 to deliver to a residence, and another
$85.00-$100.00 if a lift gate is required. If they deliver the product to a
residence and there isn't anyone there to take it off of the truck, the driver
will not do it.
Is the Cruiser Ramp system covered under a Product Liability Insurance Policy?
Yes! All products manufactured by Fast Master
Products, Inc. are covered by product liability insurance.
